Over the years, London-based
Susheela Raman has proven herself to be one of the most creative artists of her generation. With her fabulous voice and magnetic stage presence, she has conquered an audience grown fond of her compositions and interpretations, the roots of which are in traditional Indian music, her musical foundation. Her music draws parallels between various cultures. Her world, a happy blend of European, African & Asian cuttings, combined with the sharpness of Indian song, has grown out of western grounds, made up of Rock, Blues, and Soul. In short, rare are those with such ability to juggle with styles and create a unique musical realm. At Brosella, she will be singing songs from the Vel album as well as some older songs.
