Ivan Paduart (piano, compositie), Toon Roos (sax, compositie), Philippe Aerts (contrabas), Joost Van Schaik (drums), Bai Kamara (gitaar en zang).
Componist en pianist Ivan Paduart is geboren in 1966. Na acht jaar klassieke piano en vier jaar trompet, studeert hij jazz aan de Jazz Studio in Antwerpen en vervolgens aan het Conservatorium van Rotterdam. In 1989 eindigt hij 2de voor de groepsprijs en 3de voor de solistprijs aan het “Concours International de la Défense” in Parijs met de groep van Phil Abraham. In 1992 behaalt hij de eerste prijs voor compositie aan het ‘Concours International de Monaco’. Na zijn debuut in de fusiewereld en in het bijzonder met zijn groep Aftertouch, begint Paduart een akoestische formule te ontwikkelen. Hij wordt dan ook snel een van de meest opvallende jonge jazzvertegenwoordigers in Europa. Ivan Paduart werd door verschillende muzikanten beïnvloed, zoals Fauré, Piazzola, Prokofiev, Gismonti, Pierranunzi, Lins... Zijn zeer herkenbare eigen stijl wekt bewondering bij een legio beduidende musici. Ivan Paduart werkte samen met artiesten als Richard Galliano, Tom Harrell, Toots Thielemans, Didier Lockwood, Philip Catherine, Claude Nougaro, Bob Malach, Charlie Mariano, Peter King, Nigel Hitchcock, Tim Armacost, Toon Roos, Rick Margitza en Deborah Brown.

Bai Kamara Jr. groeide deels op in Sierra Leone en deels in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, alvorens zich in 1990 in België te vestigen. Hij zette hier zijn universiteitsstudies verder. In Brussel legde hij de basis voor verschillende bands waaronder Odex Protocole. Hun eerste LP werd geproduceerd door Mel Gaynor (drummer van The Simple Minds) en hun eerste album door Dan Lacksman (‘Deep Forest’). In 2002 brengt hij zijn eerste akoestische soloplaat Living Room uit, met de hitsingle Downtown St.Josse.
Bai beschrijft zijn muziek als soul met invloeden van jazz, blues, latin en funk. Sting is een van zijn grote voorbeelden, alsook Curtis Mayfield, Bob Marley en Marvin Gaye. Verder is zijn muziek ook sterk beïnvloed door Afrika, waar hij opgroeide. Met Youssou 'n Dour werkte hij samen voor het project 'Refugee Voices' wat uitmondde in het album 'Building Bridges'. Sindsdien blijft de artiest nauw betrokken bij diverse humanitaire projecten. ‘Disposable Society’ is de titel van de nieuwste plaat van Bai Kamara Jr, zijn derde als solo artiest. Hij heeft dit album opgedragen aan zijn geboorteland, een grote inspiratiebron.
